Project Overview
For Article’s Black Friday Sale in 2019, they wanted to test out a printed mailer as a part of the larger Black Friday Campaign. Previously, all sales utilised digital marketing only, but there was this opportunity to create something printed to go along with the digital ads leading up to the sale. The brief was to call out sale prices on some of the most popular products as well as the special free shipping promotion, for USA customers only.
Design
Since this piece was a part of a larger sale campaign, utilising the beautiful photography assets was integral to this design, and helped create an elegant cover for the printed mailer. The typography was styled based on the Black Friday Sale Campaign style guide for 2019, and overall the goal was to keep this piece fairly minimal and streamlined, highlighting the key messaging and top tier products.
