The Fighter Gift Set

Project Overview

Tooletries’ product and marketing teams briefed this project in as an extension to “The Endswell” Face Tool product that launched July 2022. The Fighter Gift Set includes The Endswell as well as two accompanying skincare products: The Trooper Face Moisturizer & The Fighter Eye Gel. This gift set would need to be an exciting and valuable gift to receive, so more luxurious in packaging than Tooletries’ standard packaging with additional information/value for the customer. The fighter theme needed to be obvious as The Endswell is based on a boxing tool that cut men use to reduce swelling during a fight.

Design

For this packaging I used traditional boxing/fight posters as my design reference. Bringing in that obvious boxing reference worked well with the name, and hit the main need of the brief. This also ties in directly to the existing Endswell packaging which heavily features boxing elements. Using Tooletries’ distinctive brand assets typography design is bold and eye-catching. Additionally the lower half of the box being black helps the skincare products and Endswell stand out when you open it up. The additional paper insert provides the customer detailed information on the products and how best to use them. I also added a typographic poster to the inside as an added bonus.

 
 

Endswell - Existing Packaging

The design of The Fighter Gift Set needed to fit well with the existing packaging for The Endswell Face Tool, and feel as though it is an extension to the family. Thinking of a customer’s in-store experience, the gift set needed to feel distinctively Tooletries while also fitting into this boxing theme.
